About ME

I’ve worn many hats during my broadcasting career. From associate producer to reporter to anchor — it’s been a long journey and I still love my job.

I began my career at the Fox station in Birmingham, and moved on to the ABC station in the same city, where I worked for 5 years as a producer.
My career as a reporter was also born there. My mentor gave me my first shot on air during Hurricane Ivan reporting on road closures.

The next year, I was hired as a full time reporter in Montgomery. The years that followed moved quickly. I’ve worked as an anchor and reporter in the shreveport, Charlotte, and Savannah markets.

I’m currently an anchor/reporter in charlotte.

I'm a "one woman" show on the weekends. I'm the anchor and producer of the 6 & 11 pm newscasts on saturday and sunday. I also serve as the assignment editor for the weekend shows, listening to scanners and dispatching crews to scenes. I act as the weekend executive producer - approving reporter scripts and critiquing editor's video.
